i've always had a desire to travel, but recently the desire seems to have heightened. i want to discover new places; whether it be by car to travel nearby or a plane to fly overseas. i just want to escape for awhile and only focus on the new surroundings and/or culture that i embark on.

om nashi me.

at times, mona johannesson resembles early 90's kate moss..this is one of those times....

saga of the happy wanderers.

although, i'm still hoping for a rekindled romance between johnny and kate..i can't withhold my fondness for this photo. i do love the atmosphere of weddings, but this one probably outranks them all. not that i could attest to that...

you're looking happily deranged.

each of these photos are so great, individually. grouped together they have this care free, laid-back vibe that i just love. kate beating it out on her drumset, erin cruising down her street, daria lounging around her loft...and all so effortlessly in their tee shirts.

there's no glamour in vengeance.

i'm not quite sure of my fascination with motorcycles, as of late, but i'm thinking it has something to do with the lifestyle. i like the fact that one can hop on and ride off in a moments notice with minimal baggage. i see this as a token during travel; for the attention is focused on nature and its surroundings and not possessions.

life of a private affair.

may your weekend somewhat resemble this.

at a loss for moss.

kate moss being one of my favourite models and ryan mcginley being one of my favourite photographers, it's no wonder that i find these photos to be just near perfection. they're all so dreamy, yet entirely natural. this most definitely has to be one of of my favourite. i really can't explain it in words, but i do believe that the photos speak for themselves.

and if you enjoy this little number by ryan mcginley, i highly suggest that you stop by his website (shown below the photos) ; and listen to sigur ros,'gobbledigook while you view. i posted the video awhile back, and the whole cinematography screams ryan mcginley, i absolutely love it. he does much nude photography, but it is all incredibly tasteful. i'm not sure what my fascination is with nude photography, but i feel that if it is tastefully shot then it could be wonderfully beautiful.

she'll bartend your parties.

before the month's end, i decided it would be the perfect time to show the editorial of kate moss in this month's vogue uk. not only is this an exquisite shoot because of the lovely ms. moss, but also because of the photos alone. the clouded blue and green wall is the first object to take stage followed by the beautiful clothing. there is a perfect balance of fur, hardware, and delicate pieces. kate moss' effortless beauty pulls it altogether like a beautiful bow atop the most precious gift.

song of the week.

"i just don't know what to do with myself" was made famous by dusty springfield. i also love the version that, the white stripes have put their own electric twist on the classic song. on this particular monday i chose the video of kate moss' tasteful performance featuring the white stripes.

let's focus on the real topic(s)

there really isn't one focus when it comes to this particular blog. in fact, this blog reflects on what i find interesting such as: fashion, traveling, music, films and such.
it'll be lovely...i promise.
ciao! for now.
