a song will move the job along.

rebecca minkoff, hilary rhoda, and leandra medine (of: the man repeller) getting ready for the cfda awards to a song that has been heard by pretty much everyone; but for some reason i don't hate this spoof...i want to be friends with them.

blank canvas beauties.

it looks as though a few models have gotten their hands on pieces from anthony vaccarello's spring 2012 rtw. this is definitely in my top five from spring 2012. the well-tailored, asymmetrical pieces look absolutely flawless on karlie, anja, and lou.

the end has no end.

i can't get enough of this vogue australia oct. '11 editorial, featuring rosie tupper. each image is fresh and electrifying. the background colors don't overwhelm the pieces, but enhance them in the greatest way. i especially love the noticeable sheen on rosie's skin. this look is 1950's housewife placed in the year 2056.

never judge a girl by her lover.

my fascination with motorbikes seem to have lingered longer than i had originally expected. i only see seduction when i look at these images.

not made for the cruel modern world.

i have always been drawn to everything that is noot seear. her effortless, undemanding look is something that seems to intrigue me. this editorial for the june/july '11 issue of foam magazine is no different. one of my favourite models in one of my favourite magazines makes for an out of this world feature. she could possibly be the only individual who would inspire me to dye a few pieces of my hair that is the same color as a highlighter.

onomatopoeia.

i love these playful images of "zip zap" and "bam bam." and i especially love the fresh-faced, tomboy looks of both zippora seven and bambi northwood-blyth.

you're looking happily deranged.

each of these photos are so great, individually. grouped together they have this care free, laid-back vibe that i just love. kate beating it out on her drumset, erin cruising down her street, daria lounging around her loft...and all so effortlessly in their tee shirts.

children, shut your eyes.

emily didonato is incredibly stunning. it seems as though she's comfortable in her own skin; which makes her all the more appealing.

this editorial from the january 2011 issue of, cover magazine is perfectly titled. the "basic" wardrobe could easily be a staple for either gender. well, almost. but, the pieces could have definitely been seen on the street 20 years ago. after having stated that, i think the reason i am completely spellbound by this editorial is because of it's semi-timeless feel. not to mention; how snejena onopka is presented in an unrefined, yet alluring way.
