Sexy Nonchalance: Hair + Makeup Tips Backstage at Jill Stuart Fall 2012 NYFW | FashionTV

http://www.FashionTV.com/videos NEW YORK - Before her Fall/Winter 2012/13 show, Jill Stuart caught up with FashionTV backstage, to talk about the inspiration for this seasons collection. Stuart was drawn to the "nonchalance and magical, dark charm" of Nick Cave's women. In order to emulate the looks of PJ Harvey, Susie Bick, and Lydia Lunch the Kerastase hair-stylists and make-up artist Diane Kendal, teamed up to create a feminine and sexy, yet unconcerned look. This was achieved through undone hair paired with smoky-eyes in lilac tints, a pinkish pout, and a simple complexion. The models, including campaign face Daphne Groeneveld, Lindsey Wixson, and Sara Blomqvist effortlessly mimicked the simplicity and darkness of the collective of women, whose style Jill Stuart was so inspired by.

Appearances: Jill Stuart, Diane Kendal, Daphne Groeneveld, Lindsey Wixson, Sara Blomqvist, Jasmine Tookes, Kristina Romanova
